Introducing the Maronite Rite in Orthodoxy

Are you referring to Our Lady's Maronite Church in Austin, Texas? It's a beautiful looking church from the videos I've seen on its Facebook page. I've noticed though that the liturgies are not being celebrated ad orientem.

Introducing the Maronite Rite in Orthodoxy

I visited the Facebook page for Our Lady of Victory Maronite Church and do not see a sanctuary veil. This is a photo posted in 2013. Recent photos do not show a veil either.

Our Lady of Fatima sanctuary in St. Petersburg.

Also worth mentioning is that it will be a Russian Greek Catholic shrine, not Roman. You are correct. There has been no opposition from the ROC regarding this project.

Ripple effect of schism: Visits of myrrh-streaming Iveron icon

I agree. I happen to know Subdeacon Nectarios, a very humble man. The icon is known as the icon of unity in light of the reunion between ROC and ROCOR. However, since the icon was present for the celebration of Divine Liturgy in many parishes, I personally doubt that Archbishop Kirill of San...

Ripple effect of schism: Visits of myrrh-streaming Iveron icon

I don't believe anyone would be stopped from seeing it, but I think that in light of the schism, the Greek Orthodox and other Orthodox parishes under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch that used to receive visits from the miraculous icon will no longer be able to.

Ripple effect of schism: Visits of myrrh-streaming Iveron icon

With ROCOR declaring that it has severed Eucharistic communion with the Patriarchate of Constantinople, does this mean that the miraculous myrrh-streaming of the Hawaiian Iveron icon of the Mother of God will no longer be visiting Greek Orthodox parishes in the USA or of any other...

I'm curious to know the reason for these two copies of Our Lady of Guadalupe being there. Where they being presented to...

Of the OO churches, which would you say is more "traditional?"

There appear to be several ways in which the Eucharist is reserved in the Armenian Apostolic Church: 1) in an artophorion, which is commonly used in the Eastern Orthodox Church. 2) in a chalice 3) in a pyx 4) reserved in a side niche I have also seen monstrances with nushkars displayed on...

Armenian Great Entrance (veraperoom) with canopy

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I've seen in several videos the use of a canopy at Holy Etchmiadzin for the Catholicos in procession before and after the celebration of a Soorp Badarak. I've personally seen a canopy used in procession when His Holiness Aram I visited Los Angeles years ago, but...
