We sing a hymn with a little Arabic in it, and my daughter noticed that Aleluia was pretty much the same in both languages. Is it a word that has made it into all languages largely unchanged?

Yes. At least in all the languages I've seen it, there are only small transliteration differences.

Yeah, in Arabic it maybe halliluyah or alliluyah sometimes. In Polish allelujia, in Church Slavonic alliluia (in some regions with special "l" being between "l" and "w") etc. But, generally, it is the same.
