Yesterday, in Canada, we commemorated the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. It takes place on the anniversary of the shooting of fourteen women at the École Polytechnique in Montreal, Quebec. Please keep in mind those were lost on that day, those who were injured, those who are still scarred by the events, and, of course, all those who suffer or who have suffered from violence in one form or another.
