The Church History by Eusebius is great. The Orthodox Church by Kallistos Ware has a good amount of basic information on Church history as well. George Demacopoulos and Aristotle Papanikolaou speadhead the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham and have published many books that focus on specific areas of Church history.
Your best bet is to look up specific books or articles on specific time periods or topics. Also, sign up for www.academia.edu and search Orthodox related things.. there are thousands of academic papers published on countless topics.
