Wiki and Google are allowed. web.archive.org (the "wayback machine") is blocked.

So how do they censor/block sites? Do they use key words, or individually/manually compile a list, or ...?

Wordpress and Blogger are both blocked. I didn't expect otherwise. Blogging is the easiest form of resistance.

Christians are a protected minority in Iran, they're allowed to do whatever they want as long as they're not heavily trying to convert Muslims.
And the acceptance of Christians is increased when it's tied to their ethnicity.

For example Armenians (Assyrians? Someothers) are tolerated completely, but Protestants have some suspicion because they come from the outside, go out on the street and try to convert and are viewed as "american influence" like the Bahaí.

Orthodoxchristianity.net is probably not blocked because the ethnic Armenians, as part of the toleration kit.  ;D

This is good in the sense people can still find what they are looking for without it being blocked.  If they somehow missed out on Orthodoxy, good on them.

No fecal matter

but
Pravda.ru  is not blocked
and
nytimes.com is not blocked.
Again, no fecal matter.

EDIT: I suppose the last one is surprising, but it undermines the idea the Times is a tool of the neo-con Zionist conspiracy. Either that or they're super subtle.
