This is a version of the old classic I grew up with in the Rio Grand Valley of Texas:
'Twas the noche before Christmas and all through the casa,
Not a creature was stirring-Caramba! Que pasa?
Los ninos were tucked away in their camas,
Some in nightgowns,some in pajamas,
While hanging the stockings with mucho cuidado
In hopes that old Santa would feel obligado
To bring all children, both buenos and malos,
A nice batch of dulces and other regalos.
Outside in the yard there arose such a grito
That I jumped to my feet like a frightened cabrito.
I ran to the window and looked out afuera,
And who in the world do you think that it era?
Saint Nick in a sleigh and a big red sombrero
Came dashing along like a crazy bombero.
And pulling his sleigh instead of venados
Were eight little burros approaching volados.
I watched as they came and this quaint little hombre
Was shouting and whistling and calling by nombre:
"Ay Pancho, ay Pepe, ay Cuco, ay Beto,
Ay Chuy, ay Chopo, Macuco, y Nieto!"
Then standing upright with his hands on his pecho
He flew to the top of our very own techo.
With his round little belly like a bowl of jalea,
He struggled to squeeze down our old chiminea,
Then huffing and puffing at last in our sala,
With soot smeared all over his red suit de gala,
He filled all the stockings with lovely regalos-
For none of the ninos had been very malos.
Then chuckling aloud, seeming very contento,
He turned like a flash and was gone like the viento.
And I heard him exclaim, (and this is el verdad),

"Merry Christmas to All, and Feliz Navidad

When I taught French in elementary school, my students learned this:
T'was the Night d’avant Noël
Clement C. Moore et/and Léonce Gallant

T'was the night before Christmas et dans tout le logis
Not a creature was stirring, même pas une souris.
The stockings were hung le long d’la cheminée
In hopes that St. Nicholas ne va pas oublier.
The children were nestled dans leurs petits lits
While visions of sugar plums excitent l’appétit.
And mama in her kerchief et moi dans ma jaquette
Had just settled down dans la grande couchette,
When out on the lawn j’entendis un vacarme,
I sprang out of bed pour sonner l’alarme.
Away to the window je me dépêchai,
Tore open the shutter et le rideau je haussai.
The moon on the breast de la neige toute blanche
Gave a luster of midday et une couleur étrange.
When, to my wondering grands yeux, j’aperçus
But a miniature sleigh et les rennes bien connus.
With a little old driver qui crie et appelle
I knew in a moment que c’était le Père Noël.
More rapid than eagles sont ses animaux,
And he whistled and shouted, les nommant par leur nom.
Now, Dasher! Now Dancer! Allez-y tout de suite
On Comet! On Cupid! Il faut aller vite.
To the top of the porch au haut du grand mur
Now dash away, dash away, par dessus la clôture.
As dry leaves that before une tempête en automne
When they meet an obstacle en l’air tourbillonnent,
So up to the housetop, son attelage l’amène
With a sleigh full of toys et le bonhomme lui-même.
And then in a twinkle, j’entendis sur le toit
The prancing and pawing des sabots sur le bois.
As I drew in my head afin de me tourner,
Down the chimney St Nicholas se laissa glisser.
He was dressed all in fur de la tête au pieds,
And his clothes were tarnished par la suie de la cheminée.
A bundle of toys juché sur son dos
And he looked like a peddlar avec tous ses cadeaux.
His eyes how they twinkle, ils brillent et ils luisent,
His cheeks are like roses, son nez comme une cerise.
His drole little mouth et son sourire qui plaît,
And the beard on his chin était blanche comme du lait.
The stump of a pipe placé entre ses dents
And the smoke it encircled sa tête joliment.
He had a broad face, une panse bien taillée
That shook when he laughed comme un bol de gelée.
He was chubby and plump, un nain plein de joie
And I laughed when I saw him, tout ça malgré moi.
A wink from his eye, un mouvement de tête
Soon gave me to know que de craindre était bête.
He spoke not a word et avec toute vitesse
He filled all the stockings, puis tourna d’un geste.
And laying his finger sur le bout de son nez
And giving a nod, il commença à monter.
He sprang to his sleigh, s’empara des cordons
And away they all flew, comme le duvet d’un chardon.
But I heard him exclaim d’une voix très douce :

“Merry Christmas to all et Bonne Année à tous!”

Twas the night Before Christmas - Armenian Style:

Twas the night before Gakhant, when all through the doon (house)
Not a gentani was stirring, not even our shoon.(dog)
The Koolbas (stockings) were hung by the vararan (stove)with care,
Just after Medz Mayrig (Grandmother) had washed them in the sink with hands bare.

The bzdeegs (littles)were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Anoushabour (sweetsoup) danced in their heads.
And Mayrig in her kisheranots (night clothes), and I in my Peejama,
Couldn’t wait till the morning so we could eat some fresh baklava.

When out on the lawn there arose such an amoog,
I sprang from the angokhin to see if it was a karnoog.
On the way to the badoohan (window)I stubbed my poor dodig, (little foot)
Tore open the badoohan (window) and yelped like a shoonig. (small dog)

The loosyn (moon) on the breast of the new-fallen tsooyn (snow)
Showed the bruise on my dodig in a sev (black) and jermag (red) kooyn.(color)
When the tsav (pain) settled down and I stopped squirming like tsoogs, (fish)
I looked right outside and saw 8 tiny Eshoogs. (donkey like)

With a little old mart, (man) Could it be? Haba?,
I knew in a moment it must be Gakhant Baba. (Father Christmas)
More rapid than Trchoons (birds) those gentanees came,
And he bora’ed, and ganche’ed, and called them by name!

"Now Garo! now, Arman! now, Jirayr and Levon!
On, Vartan! On, Haig! on Norayr and Dziran!
To the top of the danig! to the top of the doon!
Yalla Hayde Beh! Hayde Beh! Hayde Beh amenoon!"

As vardeegs that are hung outside to dry fly,
When they meet with the hov, and fly to the sky.
So up to the Danik the Eshoogs they flew,
With the Gark full of Toys, and Gakhant Baba too.

And then, in a vargyan, I heard on the Danik
The prancing and pawing of each little Eshoog.
As I drew midkis mech, and was turning around,
Down the Vararan Gakhant Baba came with a bound.

His Shabig and Pantolon were all colored Garmeer,
But his clothes were all sep-sev thanks to the ashes…oh dear.
A bundle of Khakhaligs he had flung right onto his back,
He looked like THE ARMENIAN VENDOR, standing there just opening his pack.

His Achks-how they twinkled! his Yeres how merry!
His Aydigs were like Vart’iks, his Keet like a cherry!
His droll little shoortoonks were Garmeer in Kooyn,
And the Morook of his chin was as jermag as the tsooyn.

A piece of fresh soojookh he held tight with his teeth,
And the smell of that soojookh went straight to your keet.
He had a broad khntoom eres, and a medz round Stamoks,
That shook when he laughed, and knocked off his aknots!

He was keroog but jarbig, a right jolly old mart,
And I laughed when I saw him, with all of my heart!
A wink of his Achk and a twitch in his Kit,
Soon gave me to know  he didn’t mind it one bit.

He spoke not a par, and worked real Shood,
And filled all the koolbas, he packed them real good.
And laying his mahd aside of his keet,
He shot up the vararan, and landed on his feet!

He sprang to his Gark, to his Eshoogs borats ganchets,
And away they all flew meg eshi ureneh satgets.
But I heard him exclaim after saying Kisherpari,(good night)
"Shnorhavor Soorp Dznoonoont(Happy Holy Birth), Yev Pari Nor Dari!" (and good New Year)

well gave you most of the words ~ put the rest in ```
