You know why some theological concepts seemingly different/contradictory? Doctrine and dogma are limited because they are in human language and lead to the fullness of Theosis, they are imperfect in describing the ineffable mysteries of God, but they they are not even meant as a permentant understanding. People are supposed to be illumined. God is so beyond human conprehension. He is knowable and unknowable, unmoved, and moved. All words fall short in acturately describing God, thus having a perfect description is meaningless and impossible. We just have certain dogmas to assist people in Theosis. People are supposed to be illumined, that is our faith, Theosis is the main goal of Orthodoxy.

True, but first stage is purification, then illumination and theosis (union with God). This is the full path of Orthodoxy.
