I made my 11000th post not too long ago.

Was busy posting and did not even know that I had exceeded the threshold for this thread!

Culinary genius. There's no other word for it.
Seriously.  Many of the best foods come in those aluminum trays.
So does Alzheimers.
Glass, cook and eat from......
Um, Alzheimer's comes from aluminum trays?
Not only that, but apparently it tastes best when it's fresh from the skillet:

Yes, and especially from aluminum pots and pans.
Do not cook tomato-based or lemon-based dishes in aluminum pans.

But with any of these toxins one has to factor in lifetime exposure.  A steady diet of tuna or other oceangoing fish for example will lead to mercury poisoning, but this does not prevent me from continuing to enjoy the sushi bar as part of my diet.  The dose, said Bombast, bombastically, makes the poison.

I recall reading a connection between having much aluminum in the body and the dreaded disease.
That approach may have been discarded, but I still don't like aluminum in my deodorant, cooking/eating stuff, etc. per the above.

I've heard about this too. I avoid cooking with aluminum for this reason but I'm not sure if it is true.

Until we figure out how Alzheimer's come about, all of these might simply be conjectures or mere correlation, not necessarily causation.  There's a correlation also that Alzheimer's occur in people with higher income.  So in this case, stay away from money.  In fact, give your money to me, so that you may be safe from Alzheimer's  ;)
