Why gay-friendly Christianity is always like this. If they have to bless same sex couples why they have to do it in ugly churches like this?

Then are those Germans truly Roman Catholic? I think not.
People are choosing to divide themselves from their Churches... It is a choice they are making.

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff when the time comes...

We should pray they realize the error of their ways before that time arrives.

Yes
temporary “wall” was set up in the sanctuary and participants were asked to write down “everything that upsets you”

That's what the carboard boxes are stacked up behind the man. Is that a man?

Lord, have mercy.

As someone from Germany this is neither surprising nor unexpected.

Maybe German gays are somehow broken. Gays are supposed to have a good taste.
"Lot, we don't want your virgin daughters! Give us the men visiting you, so we may know them!"

Good taste, ok.

Well, they do it with the atleast tacit support of their bishops, with them winking and saying they put it on the "consciousness of the individual priest" (which is, of course, absurd given that presbyters merely exercise their ministry as a stand-in for their respective bishops). Plus the German "Roman Catholic Bishop's Conference" has previously lobbied for blessings of same sex unions taking place. The Vatican's supposed opposition to this seems more like a fig leaf to appease the conferences which actually have a rest of a faithful laity (think Poland or the US).

Well then it is up to the Pope and his hierarchs to actively step in and sanction the clergy/parishes/bishops who go against the teachings of the Church.

Or.... if they feel this is acceptable, they make an announcement and officially sever the Roman Catholic Church from any semblance of Christianity.

As children, we often do not know why our parents put restrictions upon us. We feel it is unfair. They are lording it over us. They do not understand us.... and we feel offended, and try to act just the opposite way from what they instruct.

Soon we learn - by putting our hand in the fire when told not to, we get burned. When getting drunk, we get in trouble. When pulling a dog's tail, we get bit. When drinking bleach, after we crack open a locked kitchen cabinet, we get sick, and when eating the fruit from a tree we were told not to...bad things happen.

The same holds true with God's teachings to us. We often do not understand them, or Him... and yet, we need to trust that what He tells us to do/not do, is in our own best interest... and some day we will understand why He told us not to do certain things, and instructed us to do certain things.

Trust in the Lord goes beyond understanding His motives..

Well, the whole business model of the Vatican is about label frauding Christianity. It just becomes more obvious in our "post-Christian" times.

Americans in my experience generally underestimate how deeply nihilism is now ingrained in the deceased and smelly soul of Europe.

I think the nihilism is due to the intentional splintering of the Church into irrelevance.

How do you mean "intentional splintering"?

When the Trinit- vs Arian split materialized, it wasn't a huge problem until the already relevant Emperor Justinian first defied the advice of the Oracle of Delphi and invaded Libya, and then sent army after army, depleteing the resources of East Rome, trying to invade also Italy, on the pretext of Goths being Arian (which was perhaps not even true in the case of most Austrogoths). This paved the way for the first Muslim invasions of formerly Christian territories. (With respect; I know you all know a lot about the history of Byzantium!)

The Vatican is located in a large city—Rome, and large cities tend towards Heathendom. People in cities often have disproportionate influence in society and as a majority of them perceive that they are more sinful than the median, they are convinced that they will benefit from sin becoming more prevalent in society. If we wish to have larger church organizations, then at least we should place them somewhere else than in city centres.

Speaking of Mister Martin Luther and other Protestant cohorts.
Americans, in my experience, generally (or just you) overestimate the influence of Luther or Protestants on European society. Many emigrated to the US throughout the 19th century as they no longer controlled their churches in Europe. Jews left when Israel was formed. Isn't the Roman Catholic Church the largest church in Germany by member count? Isn't it time for them to act in good faith and take responsibility?

Fun fact: the region in which Luther preached originally is now one of the most atheistic in the whole world.
