Mike Odegaard is a personal friend of mine, whom I first met several years ago when he came into Orthodoxy through my parish (St. Paul's Irvine).  On his mother's side, he's related to the Hawaiian royal line.

Interesting!  The interviewer, Matushka Jenny Schroedel, and her husband, Fr. John, are both personal friends of mine from years before his enrollment in seminary.
