This question arose a few days ago.  If it is chanted at funerals that you have been at, could you elaborate as to when you heard it?

I've only heard it as a communion hymn at some other parish.

Plus during walking at the foot pilgrimages.

I voted "no", since this hymn doesn't containt specific prayer for departed people.

Edit: the only paraliturgical song being not about death or Resurrection I've heard duirng funeral was Polish carol "Do szopy hej pasterze". But, firstly, it was the Christmas time, secondly, our parish rector (because it was his burial) loved this carol.
