I'm not "Orthodox", but I had garlic salt today. Mom bought some thin filets and I was thus obliged to prepare them for both of us.

After that Mac & Creamed Spinach. Everything you loved about both if you love them both.

That sounds great, I really need to practice a little more portion control.
I have tried some of the vegan microwave meals and found a few that I like. Every vegan recipe takes hours to prepare, feels like. Not like scrambled eggs, or sandwiches, even mashed potatoes are pretty low effort.

Hello Fresh Balsamic Fig Chicken

It came with salad greens instead of broccoli, so I made extra sauce with just a little more water, and including the chicken flavor and sauteed chicken flavor I used it for a salad dressing. Mom used a bottled brand but she tried it with the chicken flavor and didn't hate it.

I don't know what I would do differently, it wasn't awful. I tried the salad after Mom, tasted greens, add salt and pepper, taste sauce and sense that it's not quite right, I didn't use any lemon and I have a lemon.

**PS. To me, the idea is portion control. You get x amount of food, and it's pre-preportioned. I want to try some other free offers before I commit to any particular one first, however.

This morning around 11am I went to make food and half my mind wanted grilled cheese for lunch and the other half wanted eggs for breakfast, and without thinking I ended up starting to prepare for both at the same time :giggle: thankfully this donned on me quickly and soup was the only thing cooking, so I just put away the eggs, toaster, etc. and went with grilled cheese and tomato soup

Mondays are dedicated to angels. Monks fast in acknowledgement of this. Your choice is more pleasing to them.

Monks are a light to people. Angels are a light to monks. Pizza is a light to angels.

No idea, but I don't think I've ever met Mexican immigrants to Brazil. It's just that some of us enjoy the style, although far less than Americans do.

Apparently there are some websites in Portuguese claiming mixing yogurt with lemon is sour cream, or at least imitates it closely. It couldn't be further from the truth... Although in the absence of proper buttermilk (to use it as a fermenting agent for the cream) the best home recipe would be adding some lemon to whey (or less ideally but still fine to milk).

My mom thinks I'm crazy, but I like to drink pure buttermilk. Too bad it's almost impossible to find it in the city.
