"Man of God" - Movie about St. Nektarios

This movie premiered yesterday via an online event.

Did anyone else watch it?

It made me sad, to see how a good person was so maligned and slandered... although I realize it still happens today.

However, the saints faith, kindness and forgiveness moved me.

May St. Nektarios intercede for us all.

I saw it. It was well done. I think it's important to note, re the sufferings of the saints, that those sufferings represent the saints' triumph. Through patient endurance of slander and through not returning evil with evil, St. Nektarios was crowned.

My girlfriend and I found about it Sunday per chance, googling after Elder Joseph the Hesychast. I tried to download it, but I think the website was just trying to upload malware into my computer. The trailer got us very excited, I hope we can find it eventually.

Check your local movie theaters for showings on March 21, in the US anyway. Many places will be playing it nationwide that day.

Well, managed to watch with my boyfriend as we consider him as "our patron" saint
Really good, not so sweet and higlighting mriacles as it happens often in movies about saints.
Just two things: 1. I thouhgt Agni Parthene woudl sound in one point (for me it would be perfect e.g for the end of the movie, as something triumphant)
2. Accents of native langauges of actors in their English.
