Hi guys.I am a convert to oriental orthodoxy from a baptist backround,to catholicism and then to OO.I am happy with my decision to one day become baptized in the oriental orthodox church but I have one thing that is really tough on me.and that is finding a OO wife that is compatible with me.I can not find a OO wife.it just won't happen practically speaking, and the cultural, linguistic, geographic and other barriers(like the fact every OO ethnicity like armenians, copts, nasranis,Syriacs and even ethiopians are very unwelcoming to the idea of marrying outsiders and are endogamous and somewhat xenophobic when it comes to marrying others.
I wouldn't even have any way to marry a woman of any of these cultures or find one.theres no way to meet any looking for marriage that are also compatible with me.or that will even like me.

I prefer to find a woman from my country(America and holland) but they aren't orthodox although they are christian.

I know that the armenian etzmiadin church marries OO to any baptized trinitarian christian, but my question is if this would be valid in God's eyes?if it isn't why does armenian and malankara church do it?how can they do something that makes their parishioners that do marry outside, live in fornication?

I heard a priest say on tasbeha that only orthodox can take the sacraments so a marriage wouldn't be possible with nonorthodox.

if so then I can never marry, and I will fall into sin.but I also I do not want to leave the OO church for another church because it is a mortal sin.

but the armenian and malankara church does allow to marry catholics.and I can find a catholic or protestant woman easily.I don't know what to do.I also don't want to postpone baptism because I don't want to die and not be able to go to heaven, even though I can marry even a atheist before baptism and stay married to her if I become baptized.

this is all so hard.

any OO know if what the armenian and malankara churches do is okay in God's eyes?

I can’t help you with the OO intricacies of interfaith or intercultural marriage, but I strongly encourage you no to delay entering the Church. Give the rest to God, and yes, that’s very hard to do. Do it anyway. :)

So why from Baptist to Catholicism? And then to Oriental Orthodoxy?

Also, what does "valid" mean?

I was born into a baptist household but left christianity at age 13.I didn't come back until age 26 and I chose Catholicism because it was the church I felt most close to and inspired by its saints like Padre pio.I then found out about how the catholic church went into heresy at Vatican 2 and how the early saints were orthodox in their understanding of papal authority.I chose OO because I don't agree with chalcedon.but it's against the rules to discuss this in this forum.

Valid meaning that even though only orthodox can take sacraments can the sacrament of marriage be administered then to a heretic in the act of a mixed marriage.

I am open to marrying EO btw I know that's allowed and valid since EO are orthodox but it's just as hard to find EO woman.I had a Ethiopian girlfriend that was religious OO but it didn't work out because she changed her personality midway into the relationship.it was a long distance relationship. My best friend is a beautiful Ethiopian Orthodox woman that contacted me on a dating site(afrointroductions also where I met my Ethiopian exgf before that) because she thought I was very handsome in her first words to me and she is interested in me but says she will not marry me unless she loves me and develops feelings.were just friends and I don't want to move to her province in ethiopia and she doesn't want to move outside of Ethiopia so it won't work out and I rather just stay friends with her.besides it's impossible for a foreigner to move long term to ethiopia.I am Italian american and half dutch I much rather find a american or dutch woman or any ethnicity woman that lives in the west and is educated etc

The thing is I have so many women that are into me from america,Asia, latin america and Africa and europe but I can't go further because I'm not a fornicator and I know I can't marry them.its just so annoying.I don't want to move to a third world country.I am open to moving to europe again where there are alot of EO.but I wouldn't want to stay long term in Eastern Europe either.I do not want to move permanently to a poor country where I'm a foreigner .I want a good standard of living for myself.I don't even want to move back to Holland because the pay is way lower than usa due to socialism .I already am mistaken for a foreigner to people that don't know me due to my olive skin and ambiguous appearance and it's not nice.I don't want to be poor AND be a foreigner lol

Keep your eyes on the kingdom of heaven and stop trying to figure it all out. If God wants you to marry He will provide a wife. If you feel best spiritual compatibility in the OO church then go forward and be blessed.
But keep your focus on God. It is in His timing He will unfold His plan for you. For us, it is to trust.

Matthew 6: 33-34 KJV

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Reading through your following posts, it sounds like you have a few personal things to sort out. Prioritize what's really important to you.

I'd first focus on becoming a Church member and think about marriage after that happens. You need to get in Communion with God, everything else will sort itself out in time. I have to believe once you start attending services regularly you'll discover eligible lady members who might be interested. You could also participate in Church to Church functions without OO Churches-for example we have volleyball and basketball games with other GOC in my region. If you circulate in the proper circles you'll get noticed.
