Ballmer has said that Linux forced Microsoft to be innovative and provided them with a drive to succeed, but he also bashed much of the open source license (a "cancer") and business model.
Annual fillings with the Securities and Exchange Commission by Microsoft listed Red Hat and Canonical as competitors in the Client category. Anyways, Microsoft still has a vast majority of the market share, but it is nice to see others creeping in, whether it is in the Client section or the Browser section. Hopefully more people will wake up and see the Penguin, or maybe Daemon ( :laugh: ).
