No offense but this sounds like some 1990s Evangelical teenage girl "I <3 Jesus" mumbo jumbo

So....?

No name of alleged saint and no explanation of whatever the heck "Mystical Conception of Jesus in the Heart" is. The name sounds foreign to Orthodox terminology. Maybe you would like to explain it so that we can know what you want to talk about.

Well, I can see why the "Ask Jesus into your heart" is being rejected.

Well, I thought my understanding of Jesus would translate properly.

Again, we are hampered by the fact that we cannot get into your head to understand your context. We are left only with a couple cryptic sentences. They appear to be in English, but if you do not provide explanations and context and all that, I'm going to need some kind of Rosetta Stone to understand what you're talking about, I'm afraid.

My heart isn't big enough for him, but if you want to talk to him he's in my nous cleansing it. (this is a joke, not a jab at you)

This.

WPM, many of your posts seem to be this way, where you say something as though everyone understands what you are talking about, when we really don't. I'm not saying this to be a jerk or judge you. In fact it makes perfect sense to me that some people would relate to others that way. I'm just saying that we need more.  :)

Its translated result of the Jesus Prayer.

Its the monk wandering the forest or the desert that lives in a different reality.

The Evangelical Thing "Ask Jesus into your heart" actually works when it takes on the conception of the Jesus Prayer.

You need more ... Do you need context and systematic outline -

Here is what comes to mind when I read that in the OP:

- What saint? Does he want us to tell him the name? Is this thread about finding out who this saint is?

- What is this "Mystical Conception" thing? Is that what this is about? Why didn't he explain it? Am I supposed to know already?

- Is this an Orthodox thing or not? It's not in faith issues, but rather religious topics. What exactly is it all about, eh?

Why do you need a Treatise and Explanation for that?...

Okay. I'm understanding a little more now. Thank you!

WPM, when I read the subject "mystical concpetion of Jesus in the heart" I thought it meant conception as in conceiving a child. But conception can also relate to concept. Were you referring to the latter?

Yes, I see a correlation between the Jesus Prayer and the Protestants wanting people to "ask Jesus into their hearts." There is a difference, however, in that most of that type of Protestants, I gather, see this as a one-time thing and would look down on the Jesus Prayer as being "vain repetition." True, it can be done in vain, but calling upon the Lord with humility and faith is never in vain, and God never tires of the soul that trusts in Him.

A summation would have sufficed--though you've now given us enough bread crumbs that we found the way

I didn't know you needed a Treatise and a Philosophical Explanation.
