September 15, 2014 is the first meeting of Bishops, Clergy and Laity in an Open Forum related to developing a blueprint for a unified Orthodox Church in the USA.
As much as I think OCL beats the dead horse, this may lead to something positive!

remember children, discussion, not debate.

We had the first such ACOB Open Forum in Greater Cleveland hosted by the Orthodox Christian Church of the Holy Trinity in Parma, Ohio (OCA), sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Clergy. OCA Proto-Deacon Peter Danilchick delivered a presentation on the plans being developed by the ACOB Committee on Regional Planning, who responded to questions from the floor, along with Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of ROCOR's Mid-West Diocese, and GOAA Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh. It was interesting and informative.

Looks like a follow up forum will be held October 24th at St Vladimir's.

"Featured speaker for the OCL Open Forum will be Alexei Krindatch, consultant to Regional Planning Committee of the Assembly of Bishops. He will give insights into the work of that committee, as it develops a blueprint for a unified Orthodox Church in the USA.

Other notable speakers slated for the forum include His Eminence, Archbishop Nathaniel and His Grace, Bishop Michael, Orthodox Church in America; both will update participants on the work of the Assembly. Other speakers will be announced."
