Brazilian Syriac clergy of Aparecida de Goiânia, Brazil, with Bishop José (Faustino). The number of deaconesses is interesting, specially considering it seems to be just one suburban parish.
The image doesnt appear.
There was a syriac parish in Brasilia area that was quite pentecostal/charismatic.
Weird, it still appears here, try clicking here: https://scontent.fsdu5-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/19223050_1463024687123504_4095546095397885366_o.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=c14c4535931bee2cbbc7a654075f5ff1&oe=5BFE815D
I'm under the impression that the SOC in Brazil is too quick on accepting new clergy, which allows for some abuse. Word on the street is that we have two bishops with overlapping jurisdiction because faithful of Syro-Lebanese background disliked the way the Church was taking here.
