I read somewhere that it's not right to cross one's arms like that when approaching the chalice (and, now that I think of it, I don't think anybody here does it). Is this a jurisdictional thing?

Thanks! Quite a rich thread (well, at least until Gorazd took over).
I haven't had that much fun reading a thread in a while...

God doesn't look at all like I pictured him. Awesome footage of the creation of the multiverse though!

As someone who owns parakeets, how do you get them to sit still let alone wrap them up in a towel?  Also in the other picture they appear to be free in a shopping mall. How do you get them to stand on a skateboard rather than biting in to them? These are mysteries.

Bishop Shenouda on the day of his enthronement to the papacy. Noting, as always, how awesome Coptic bishops used to look when they wore all their vestments.

This is an old photo of one of the joint OO liturgies. This one took place in East Brunswick, NJ. Notice the Syriac Archbishop at the left is now the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch.

A girl I know on facebook has decided that her pronoun is "they" because "her" is too confining.  I'm tempted to ask if she has they have a multiple personality disorder.

A bishop I once knew (now dead) might ask if she's fat.
