Well, I actually like snow....
But then again, I am going to seminary, which should put my sanity into question right away...

28 full prostrations on the floor,
28 full prostrations,
count one down,
with Jesus go to town,
27 full prostrations on the floor...

you must really love Christ then, otherwise it would be a case of love's labours lost.

And quite an effort it was, too.  I left to see my cousins with something like 99,800 posts and came back to 100,000+.  They just took the bit in their teeth and ran with it.  :D

Well, it was really more like drunkenly staggering there towards the end... :D

But in the end you all still made it to the finish line.  Yeoman service it was.

Yes, quite the effort on our parts; holding down all that beer, mixing all that liquor towards the end...
Keeping it all relevant (ha!)...

Of course, this now begs the question: is there a purpose for this thread now?  I don't see any "drive for 200k" in the near future...

Well, like they say, the journey of a hundred thousand posts...
True...

Either that, or one can shoot for "longest thread" or some nonesense like that...

Or better yet, one of those three word story threads.

It is nice to have a thread that is by definition intellectually pointless... I mean, more than the shoutcast (and its limits - darn you!)...
Who knows what earth-changing things can be accomplished...

Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, biblical?
Ray: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor... real Wrath-of-God-type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies.
    Venkman: Rivers and seas boiling!
Egon: 40 years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanos.
Winston:The dead rising from the grave!
Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats, living together... mass hysteria!

Mass hysteria, huh?  Sounds like a normal day at the office for me. ;)

Zoe: My first reaction yesterday (the 2nd) when I went back and re-read the whole thread was:

"Wow.  I think I just became dumber.  Congratulations."

But, now for the reassuring part: Zoe, I can't believe you just read all of that either!

What's worse, that I actually read the whole thread, or that I found it entertaining?

Yes, a corny/strange sense of humor is contagious!
Next thing you know, we'll be doing "bottles of beer" to a  game like, er, twister or something.

I know, I know... get a bunch of us Orthodox folk around with no purpose, and start the reel going; maybe they should start a humor board, and move this thread over there to start... ha
