I am so mad right now, it's not even funny. I managed to read what two people said about me(describing me as a pest, thinking I was a girl, etc) and they posted it, must of realized i'd read it, and then deleted it. So I guess i'm a pest, and those females are sexist, as payback or something... I just don't get it. I'm so mad  do't even know what to do. More upset than mad, but that's my first reaction.
was it on facebook?  If it was...might want to let it go.... :)

Remember that episode of the twilight zone in which all the "normal" people looked like hideous pig people, and the "ugly" and "deformed" person looked beautiful? Or how about the bookworm guy with a nagging wife who survives a nuke being dropped, and then he has all the time in the world and all the books he wants, but ends up breaking his glasses and can't see a thing? Yeah... this post has no point to it, that's just what is on my mind at the moment. Thanks for reading. :)

Well, there is real danger in occult material, even if it's "just" phantasy. I agree that some of this seems over the top, but having myself been delivered from a very dark cloud that started as innocent enough "fun", I would say that we shouldn't all just laugh ourselves into oblivious over this tract. There are elements of truth present inside of it.

Of course, but i mean, there's room for fun too. Balance (not obsession) is key. and imo  where the "occult" and "mysticism" lines are in the sand, are a bit blurred.

Hey I play D and D and trust me, I have no desire to become a wizard or level 12 paladin in real life. LOL

On Tuesday, I had a 12" Mushroom Pizza for lunch.  Two hours later, I had 2 pieces of Pastitio and Salad for Dinner.

About a decade ago, I could eat an entire 16" Pizza or 6 Dunkin Donuts at one sitting.  My high metabolism usually handled the meal....

I feel like there is a lack of respect for people in the world. Common courtesy and politeness have gone out the window.

I'd say that someone who brags about eating a burrito has no room to complain about lack of common courtesy. :p

I'm so sorry, the impressive headgear and beard made me initially mistake this person for a hierarch of the Church. ;)

I agree. It's amazing how many problems could be solved if people just observed common courtesy and respect. "Do unto others" is pretty universal, and very pragmatic. You don't even have to believe in God to recognize the practical benefits of politeness and courtesy.

When I go out walking at night, I am amazed at how many people fly by me without slowing down or veering over to be on the safe side. I carry a flashlight, so I know they see me. But only about  one out of every 15 cars actually slows down or tries to move over to ensure that they don't hit me. It's very aggravating, and it's also a very sad commentary on the human condition. Even when my wife and children are walking with me, most people just fly right past us within inches.

Tipping is another one of my pet peeves. I am amazed that people either don't tip or tip less than 15%. I've been out with people who don't tip. My wife and I once dined with a couple  who didn't leave a tip, even though our waiter was very good. My wife asked the lady why she didn't leave a tip, and the lady actually said, "What for? He didn't really do anything special." We haven't been out with them since.

"Thank you" is also very important to me. I really hate to see children receive compliments or gifts and they just sit there without expressing gratitude. It's sad, because it reflects poorly upon the child, but the parents are the ones with the character flaw.

I know my southern upbringing has a lot to do with it, but I still think politeness, respect, courtesy, and gratitude are universal qualities that apply to all cultures. Where is rudeness looked upon with favor? (Well, I guess the French do throw a wrench in my theory.) But other than that...

One of my greatest pet peeves is when a speaker is rudely and unnecessarily interrupted.  Talking over the speaker does not make your point any more valid...  But then there are those people whom you can only get a word in edgewise, but that is an annoyance for another day.

Far too many good games coming out this year.  Mafia II, Civ V, Fallout Las Vegas, etc.
DO you know if the Fallout expansions are also available on the 360?

Hmm, meant New Vegas, not Las Vegas.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are (will be) available for 360.
AWESOME. I have fallout 3 on the 360... will new vegas let us go past level 20?

I haven't seen a mention either way about a level cap, but there probably will be one.

But, there is going to be a new realism mode if you need the challenge.

Everything has weight, even ammunition. You'll have to eat food and drink water regularly to stay alive. Stimpacks won't heal instantly, so you won't be able to spam them in the midst of a fight. And if you break a bone, you'll need a doctor and some bed rest to heal it.

You interpreted it as bragging. I was just making a random comment.

THAT is what I like to see. Would the realism mode only be for new vegas or could that "patch" somehow be applied to fallout 3(standard) as well?
That'd give the whole game a huge replay value(moreso than now) tbh.
