Oh boy... and, of course, bottles of schlivo, ouzo, and metaxa, for that matter!
(Not that I would be enjoying a small sample of the great Grand Fine Metaxa at the moment...)

Oh, and I'd like to point out that the pointlessness of this thread has helped us to get under 100 from the magic 100k number...

Reminds me of last Pascha when the new students who organized the festivities thought that bottles were a better idea than kegs and it was BYOB within a half hour...fortunately the student body as a whole was better prepared.

This is why one needs their elders to help plan things like Barbeques, Lamb Roasts, etc.
Of course, all within reason (we have a few friends of ours GiC that shouldn't be planning purchases from the candy store - it would be too much {as if that were possible}).

This would have to be the most pointless thread I've seen since I've been here, much less participated in.

And believe it or not, this was pretty much the intent of the thread... so maybe it is one of the ones that has stayed "on topic" the longest!

Wow, I think you're right, 6 pages and the conversation is just as pointless as when the thread started...this just might be a record.

We'll see... if the thread was more popular (as far as a variety of posters) it could be even longer...
Which is strange, since this thread has dominated the "recent posts" list for an hour now...

Well, I'm guessing that most people (i.e. non-seminarians) have better things to do with their Friday nights than engage in pointless online message board discussion and an online-singing of 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

True, true...

But don't remind me again that we didn't do 99 bottles... I'm a bit salty about it

So what can we do to make this more interesting to the others that are online?
More beer?  Maybe some peanuts and chips too?

It's too much.... I mean, could you then download and burn them to DVD's?  Would that be too much to drink?  OD on e-drinks?

Perhaps we could incorporate Complex Numbers (as in, the number i where i=the square root of negative one)?

"3 times the square root of negative one bottles of beer on the wall....."

Does this mean we're disposing of the previously consumed beer? ???

And, no, I don't think they're "previously disposed of..."
But, if it were, would this be "bottles of beer detox?"
