Better than cheap champagne, but still not anything to write home about.
There is no cheap champagne, only cheap champagne-style sparkling wine.
I knew I couldn't get out of typing champagne-style sparkling wine!  Just wait til I break out the Rachel Ray acronyms!  CC-SSW for you.

A real hillbilly feast: chapagne-style sparkling wine and cheese food product substitute. Yum.

I've been looking for a good mead. The International Wine Centre in town carries several varieties, but so far, most of them seem  to be trying to imitate champagne, and they do it badly. It doesn't taste horrible, but it's not that good, either. Any recommendations?
Well, when I move into my new digs I'm going to try brewing it myself....but the mead I have had is Maxwell's from Australia....

Velveeta.  Yum! :p  (To think I actually ate that **** growing up...  Now I feast on Tillamook Cheddar, since I live within an afternoon drive of the Tillamook Cheese Factory and find their cheese in every local store.  Good stuff! :))

We have a cheese factory within an hour of us, in Osceola, Mo. It's very good.
