Why?! Wine is for women.
I can't sit here, all by myself, and drink beer, especially not while listening to jazz. That's inappropriate.
I know it feels a bit heretical but it really shouldn't. Think of smoky secret bars during the Prohibition Era and their dandyish customers. There must have been lots of Jazz concerts in those.
Yeah, but ALONE? Drinking beer alone is boring.

No, not really if you have some food with your beer. Some dishes taste better with beer.

Ever have quinoa beer? No, of course not, because it sounds terrible--like all beers.

It depends on the spices.

its at the end of summer months when I fully realize what a mindless drudgery our work is. But the straw that broke the camel's back, is when on top of it all, some idiot law-school or maybe business -tenant breaks his mirror and have the maintenance staff come pick  the shards. and the management-another bunch of idiots that probably never used their hands, except to choke the chicken-thinks this is normal.

You should think a little longer and harder before posting vulgarity.

Hey I didn't waste my hands. I spent an entire two days tearing out carpet, nicking my hands with a razor and operating this cool saw thingy to put in wood flooring in my grandmother's three-bedroom house.

I really don't care what your excuse is.  Don't be vulgar. You could have made your point just as clearly without the vulgarity.

Nah, the vulgarity helped.
No, it didn't.
It was emphatic, and it further emphasized just how self-absorbed these types are. I'm not gonna deny that vulgarity is overused in some contexts, but I think this is a good idea of using it intelligently to drive a point home.

Not so much.

I just feel bad for the poor chicken that they are choking in their apartment.  Can't they release it to a farm or something?  ;)

It's a euphemistic way of referring to masturbation.

How did she enjoy the new floors?  I saw your first post about this the other day and wanted to ask.  I've never done anything like that...augustin might despise me.  :p

Just slaughter the damned thing quickly and cleanly, for cryin' out loud--you know, Kosher or Halal style!!  Providing it isn't too old, pluck it, butcher it, clean it up and cook it for dinner.  A half choked chicken is no good to nobody, especially itself.  No self-respecting farmer would want it, either, unless he was running a chicken rescue center.

G'mornin', everyone! ;D

To those of you who can appreciate both Star Wars and Star Trek, this is the epic battle between Imperial Storm Troopers and the Red Shirt Enterprise officer.
