Rhode Island. It's neither a road, nor an island.     Discuss.
I wonder how many Rhodes Scholars come out of Rhode Island.
And how do they end up in Oxford?  I thought all Rhodes led to Rome.

What!? They all end up wearing Oxfords? How do they have the money to do that?

This could be an historical first.  I just saw where, based on his participation in an internet forum, a guy admitted to being wrong and changed his mind.  Unbelievable!

Of course, I read this on the internet, so it's probably not true.

Oh, NO! The whole fabric of the cosmos is coming unraveled! The earth is going to crumble into dust and ashes!

When it doesn't happen, will you admit to being wrong?

When it does happen, I won't be around to say, "I told you so!"

Oh, no!  A pop quiz.  I've always hated these.
First question: Is it true that the sufficiency of attrition is not enough for even the penitent confessor to overcome the antidisestablishmentarianism of one's dispensationalistic concept of theistic determinism?
Translation:  Yo, is it fo rizzle that homie gettin' da blues ain't gonna do nuttin' for even Dr. King to beat some hater-hataz of some homie's idea that you ain't really got no choice!

I must say, the "Grand Unification" thread, although I haven't read all of it, and I don't want to comment there lest I am a subscriber, when I really have no desire to read it at all, but every time dattaswami posts his comments, I imagine the sitar in the background playing.

Merry Christmas  ;D
