OMG Carmen Electra is on Ellen!
Carmen Who? The only Carmen I know sang about Habanero Peppers in a Bizet opera.
«L'amour est un piment très fort, que nul ne peut jamais éteindre »
I'm pretty sure it's L'amour est un oiseau rebelle, que nul ne peut apprivoiser .
I know, I was making a play on the Habanero peppers line. ;)

Most of the Mormon girls which I have seen (and lately it has been more frequent than usual) are very cuye. Maybe their good looks might "stimulate" some young males to become Christian  ;D

Are Mormons Christians now because there girls are (help me out:  cute or coy?)?

I have said on multiple occasions that Mormons are a peculiarly attractive bunch. I don't know why, but every Mormon I've met has been quite good-looking.

Holland =/= The Netherlands
It is around here. "Alankomaat" is only for written and/or official language. Colloquial form is "Hollanti".

But then again the same logic applies to many other countries too.

UK = Englanti
US = Amerikka

etc.
In Spanish, Netherlands is "Países Bajos", but I have never, ever heard anyone refer to it that way.  Always "Holanda."
Not sure where you're at, Hecma925, but that's my experience too. In fact, not to ruin Cyrillic's day, but here's a gigantic list of the names for the country where Cyrillic lives in different languages. Just based on the ones I can read, there seem to be an awful lot of languages that use "Holland", not "Netherlands" or "Low countries".

I say we forget that part of Europe and just call them all "they"; after all, it's not like they even understand each other, anyway. :p (warning: One bad word.)

They dress decently and appear to be polite. The other day I so a guy with two mormon sisters sitting at the table...I was confused whether I was supposed to be jealous (girls were hot) or relievrd (for not having to listen to them and maybe break their hearts about how lost of a soul I am).

ZZ, you know I hold you in high esteem, but are you being serious right now? Every Mormon girl I've ever met looks like a blonde version of Sarah Plain and Tall. I guess if that's your thing, then okay, but "particularly attractive" is definitely not the first thing that comes to mind. I mean, it's not like they're Brazilian or anything. (Are there Mormons in Brazil? Probably...they're everywhere these days...yikes.)

I said "peculiarly"  ;)

But seriously- I haven't met any like that! Maybe it's the Northeastern Mormons that are attractive? And maybe it's a fluke that they're Mormon... after all, we Northeasterners are mighty awesome in practically every other way. That's probably it.

We have a long history.  But, I will say that while your fake photo is a little over the top, Carmen is today not how I remember her.  The ravages of time have, well, ravaged.  It is a sad reminder of the fall of Adam.

Lucky you, I can only dream of orthonorm and Carmen roller skating together, but you lived it.
It might have been a dream as well, but I swear it is true. Ask her about Cassenlli after the Princeton games and off to Golden Skates.

And the one time she went "native" with that crazy guy to Swifton.

She'll know.

I have been somewhat prolific today! Just yesterday I finally reached 1,000 posts. Today, I am already at 1,035. For someone whose average posts per day is 1.something, that is pretty crazy.

By the way, randomly speaking, what exactly is the general opinion of me on here? I don't want to be seen as "that strange spiritual mongrel of a ByzCath that pops out of nowhere to comment on a 30 page thread, then pops out again for a few hours."

My opinion is very favorable towards you, despite your affinity for sour cream.

I don't know how to stop!  :eek:

I'll probably post a lot for a few weeks, then fade away for a few months as I usually do.

No one cares about you as much as you do.

Once you realize this, a lot of neuroses are released.

Well, this post reminds me of a movie quote from a Bette Midler film:

"Enough about me, let's talk about you..... What do you think of me?"
