In small numbers these can be integrated, but en masse it causes division. What you end up with are a poor underclass who feel disenfranchised and on the outside of society, while the rest of society look at them with suspicion. That this 'underclass' is Somali/Pakistani and Muslim isn't important in and of itself, but obviously heightens the sense of "otherness" which helps perpetuate the problem already there. It's not conducive to societal cohesion.
