Hello Everyone!

Just checking in to state that donations are always needed and appreciated, in any denomination, and all donations go to funding the costs of OCnet, not to anyone's wallet (we don't generate any revenue; we bring in what we need, and the rare times we have extra money, we use it to expand infrastructure and software capabilities).

Donors are free to be anonymous or they can be recognized publicly as a "Site Supporter." Due to certain difficulties in recognizing people as such since we went to the XenForo system, just PM @Fr. George and he will give you that designation IF you wish.

All,

We have been running a bit dry the past few months with donations. Due to the fact that OCnet constitutes one (virtual) server out of my overall dedicated server package, which includes various volunteer websites, but also one paying client I have who pays for server space (for the non-technical among us, essentially OCnet has a roommate that helps cover costs...), the cost of hosting the website is covered at present. However, it's time to renew our subscription to the XenForo software that makes the forum itself possible. That costs $55.

However, I would like to continue to improve the forum this year by purchasing the Enhanced Search plugin (an additional $55). If I get $110 total in the next week, I will buy both; otherwise, I'll just purchase the 1 Year Extension. If I don't get any donations at all, I will of course buy it myself with my own personal funds, but would prefer that donations cover it as I am not independently wealthy, and I don't make any revenue off this site
