When Fr. Philips writes things like "Bishops declare themselves hostile to monasticism, though they themselves are supposed to be monks. Other bishops openly proclaim their sympathies with Freemasonry," I wish he would clarify who he is talking about.  You hear rumors about Orthodox bishops whi are Freemasons but its difficult to sort the facts from the conspiracy theories.

By the way, just to confirm, Fr. Philips is a canonical priest in ROCOR, or "ROCOR-MP" as the Old Calendarists call it, right?
