Perfectly true. Most homosexual men dress and act like men. Effeminacy is a fetish that just has some overlap with homosexuality. I think some of the guys here would be surprised who they live near, who they work with, that is gay.DeniseDenise said:ahh tired old cliche land...
Are there not some traditions that have pink vestments? Quick...lets start telling them that they must be gay over their color choice too!
Some of you really need to get past some of the tired old stereotypes...since there are also gay men that you would think are lumberjacks, who wouldn't wear pink either.
The vast majority of the gays I have known have been very normal. I've only known a couple of fairies and have found them somewhat disconcerting. I was showing a Norwegian friend my AK once since most of the Euro's I've met love to see the exotic weapons us Americans can legally posess, and one of the GF's friend's was over with his BF. Friend is pretty cool, but BF was, in the friend's description "such a queen". He's wearing this pink shirt and when he sees the glorious progeny of Kalashnikov he lets out this moan that I've only heard before in the bridge part of Ziggy Stardust.Porter ODoran said:Perfectly true. One of my favorite movies of all time is The Swenkas. The two groups that I have found that have a large number of people that know how to dress are the Blacks and the Gays. If I ever get into a situation where I have to look my absolute best, it will be a Black guy or a Gay fellow that will pick out my clothes. Hmmm . . . maybe even RuPaul himself. In the meantime, Fidel Castro is my fashion god.Mor Ephrem said:What a boss.Cyrillic said:

I was joking. Nothing agains pink shirts.Porter ODoran said:Pink of a certain shade is one of the most traditional colors of men's shirts, Alpo. You don't see it as much because it compliments few men's skin, is all. And I've never known a homosexual man notable for wearing pink.
It was more or less an experiment. I wanted to see if it could work.TheTrisagion said:You were rocking a white suit?

I pictured you a bit rougher on the edges I guess. But what I can see from the little pictures... you'r more "classy"
The second pic worked. Very impressed with the angle, the drink, the brow raise. You look like one of the characters from the Godfather, I just can't put my finger on himCyrillic said:It was more or less an experiment. That's a great compliment, but alas, I can't do female-kind--even after what it did to me via my mother and girls in school--such a grave injustice of not allowing at least one of them to have me.Mor Ephrem said:How do you feel about men? Huh? What's wrong with black ties? Lack of a jacket and rolled up sleeves while wearing a tie and while not being a journalist from the 40's seems a bit wrong but nothing wrong with tie.Cyrillic said:A black necktie? Anathema!JamesR said:Processing around my Church.

Black ties aren't bad. Plain black neckties are. They're boring and unconventional. Otherwise you can't really go wrong with neckties but plain black is just wrong. Black neckties with stripes or dots are just fine.Alpo said:Huh? What's wrong with black ties? Perhaps, but that's not too big a sin.Alpo said:Huh? What's wrong with black ties? Lack of a jacket... seems a bit wrong
Come on, *exhales cigar smoke in your face*, you have to admit, despite how much you hate me, that I look pretty good in a black necktie.kelly said:Legal anyway.JamesR said:I'm legal and post-pubescentDeniseDenise said:None of us are pedophiles....sorry.![]()
My mother won't buy me a formal jacket. She thinks it's a waste of money since I never go anywhere formal apart from Church. It took me a couple months to finally convince her to get me a tie, which I'm actually quite thankful for. She picked it btw, not me.Cyrillic said:Black ties aren't bad. Plain black neckties are. Ah, I see. But then again, last week I bought two dinner suits and a jacket on the market for under $10. Clothes needn't be expensive.JamesR said:My mother won't buy me a formal jacket. Second hand? Not that there would be anything wrong with it. Most of my clothes are second hand.Cyrillic said:Ah, I see. True. A sport coat can be always be worn.Alpo said:Jackets doesn't need to be formal. You could go to anywhere in an informal jacket.
