'' The unity cup (Kkimbe cha Umoja) is used to pour libations to the ancestors. ''
You won't be required to celebrate it, so possess your soul in peace.
Are you African-American? No? Then it's not your festival to celebrate. Sheesh.'' The unity cup (Kkimbe cha Umoja) is used to pour libations to the ancestors. ''
I hope you are right...
Just so you know how brainwashed people become over generations. Ask yourself if you believe in Santa Claus? Traditions are easily hijacked. What is Kwanzaa? Will ecumenical Christians be celebrating this as well?

Full disclosure: If you hadn't guessed from my previous post I absolutely despise this phoney-baloney "holiday".
My loathing for it is because it detracts from the very important, indeed, essential complements to the Nativity of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ celebrated on the days following: The Synaxis of the Theotokos, St. Stephen the Protomartyr, the Martyrs of Nicomedia, and, most especially, The Holy Innocents of Bethlehem.
